Creative Industry Workshop
Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce is running a creative industry workshop on Wednesday 7th October 2009, 6.30pm - 9.00pm at The Basement, Kensington Street, Brighton. Panellists are Liz Whitehead, Co-founder and Co-director of Fabrica Gallery, Lesley Thomson, author, Jake Shillingford, Singer & Songwriter, and Glen Poole, communications director of Neo. Paula Murray, Head of Culture & Economy, Brighton & Hove City Council will give a short talk and closing comments. This event will be especially useful for students looking to start their own creative enterprises. Places are free but limited in number so please book in advance online.
Natives Jobs Fair

The Council of Europe are now seeking an English Language Checker who will be responsible for undertaking a systematic language check of documents drafted in English by Registry Lawyers who are not native English speakers. Publishing Careers Evening
The Society of Young Publishers is running an evening with specialist publishing recruitment consultants to hear their insider knowledge and hints and tips on getting a job.
