Teaching Taster Course

The School of Education and Social Work at the University of Sussex is running a taster course for students interested in going on to study a PGCE. The course includes spending three to five days at a local Secondary School gaining valuable experience with teachers and pupils and begins on Monday 23rd November 2009 with an introduction to the profession and the secondary school curriculum. Applicants need to be interested in teaching Maths, Science, RE, Music, Design and Technology, ICT or Modern Foreign Languages in Secondary Schools and should be eligible to apply for teacher training within one year of attending the course.
