Undergraduate of the Year Awards

TARGETjobs is launching a national Awards competition to identify outstanding undergraduates from a range of degree subjects across the UK's top universities. There are eight awards up for grabs including ones to identify the top undergraduates in Law, Business, Engineering, IT/Computer Science, and Economics, plus a special ‘First Year’ Award open to all undergraduates who have just started their second year.

You can enter online and the Facebook group can be found here. The deadline for applications is 29 January 2010.

Sussex Plus Workshadowing

The Sussex Plus workshadowing placements are now live on the Careers and Employability Centre website. It is an excellent opportunity to spend a day with someone who’s in a career that interests you. This year the organisations taking part include the BBC, The Electoral Commission, DMH Stallard and the Institute of Cancer Research.

Initially, it is open to 2nd Year/Penultimate Year undergraduates only. You can apply for up to two opportunities and the deadline is 3rd February 2010
