GET Guides 2010

We've just received a delivery of the new GET guides. This book covers major employers, top career sectors and has large sections on writing effective applications, interviews and selection, and applying for further study. You can pick up a free copy from the Careers and Employability Centre in Falmer House.

Also available are the latest versions of Times Top 100 Graduate Employers and Best Companies Guide.

Publishing Careers Evening

The Society of Young Publishers is running an evening with specialist publishing recruitment consultants to hear their insider knowledge and hints and tips on getting a job. This event will take place on 21st September 2009 from 18:45 to 20:30 at Waterstones Piccadilly (Simpson Room, 6th Floor). Attendance is free for SYP members and £5 for others.There will be careers clinics for personal one-on-one consultations with specialists, plus drinks and networking.
