Johnny Bunko.com is the website tie-in to the career guide manga released earlier this year written by Daniel Pink and drawn by Rob Ten Pas. Similar to the book the website expounds the six lessons 1) There is no plan, 2) Think strengths not weaknesses, 3) It’s not about you 4) Persistence trumps talent, 5) Make excellent mistakes, and 6) Leave an imprint. These are sufficiently vague to allow a variety of interpretations and applications to careers and this is where the blog is especially interesting. Bunko Breakfasts are held by groups in different industries and organisations and the attendees discuss their views on the rules. Definitely a useful site to check out when thinking about career and personal development choices. Be sure to read the book too; we have several copies in CDEC
