Channel 4 - Journalism Trainee Scheme Bursary

Channel 4 in conjunction with City University London are offering a great opportunity for budding journalists.

They are looking for enthusiastic graduates with a passion for news and current affairs... They're also looking to better reflect Britain’s multi-cultural society, so are particularly encouraging people with knowledge of the Pakistani, Bangladeshi or African-Caribbean communities to apply.

Brighton University CMIS Open Day

The School of Computing, Mathematics and Information Sciences (CMIS) at the University of Brighton is holding an open day on Wednesday 24th March 2010 from 4 to 7pm at the Watts Building on Moulscoomb campus. This will provide the opportunity to find out about the courses on offer including Information Studies, Digital Television Management and Production and Computer Science and speak with staff. Sussex Postgraduate Open Day

Sussex's 2010 Postgraduate Open Day will take place on Wednesday 27 January 2010, 11.30am - 2.00pm in Bramber House on the University campus . The Open Day provides an ideal opportunity to find out more about postgraduate study at Sussex including advice on how a postgraduate degree can improve your career prospects. If you wish to apply for postgradate study you are welcome to bring your personal statement in to the Careers and Employability Centre and one of our advisers will review it and give you feedback. Rate Your Postgrad Course and Win a Dell Netbook

Target Courses are running a weekly prize draw to win some great prizes. This week, it's a Dell netbook computer worth over £200. If you are studying or have completed a postgraduate course in the UK, complete the survey to tell them what you think of your course and university.

The information will be used to help prospective students choose the right course and university based on the views of current and previous students. All responses are anonymous and it shouldn't take more than five minutes to complete. Take the survey here

Open University Postgraduate Advice Day

The Open University have arranged a Postgraduate Advice Day for prospective students to talk to tutors, advisers and other postgraduate students so that they can hear about the available programmes at first hand. The Postgraduate Advice Day will take place on Saturday 7 February 2009 - 10am to 1pm, at Open University in the South East, St James's House, 150 London Road, East Grinstead, West Sussex, RH19 1HG
